1. Acceptance of the Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the ECG Brief application and related services (“Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy Policy separately explains how we process personal data and does not form part of these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Professional-use clinical notice
ECG Brief is an AI-assisted clinical decision-support tool intended for healthcare professionals. Its outputs are not a definitive diagnosis or medical advice and do not replace professional judgment, patient examination, clinical guidelines, validated diagnostic systems, or emergency protocols.
You are responsible for independently reviewing and appropriately validating every output before using it. No clinical decision should be based solely on an ECG Brief output. The Service is not designed for emergencies and must not be the sole basis for an urgent clinical decision.
3. Accounts and permitted use
You must provide accurate and current information, keep your account secure, and use the Service lawfully. Do not upload an ECG image unless you have authority or another lawful basis to process it. Uploaded images must not include unnecessary patient identifiers.
You must not:
- disrupt the Service or compromise its security;
- attempt to reverse engineer the Service or any part of it;
- bypass usage limits or technical restrictions;
- run unauthorized or abusive automation;
- use the Service or its outputs for an unlawful purpose; or
- infringe another person's rights, privacy, or safety through the Service.
4. Credits
- A new verified account may receive a one-time grant of 3 welcome credits.
- Each new ECG analysis request consumes 1 credit.
- An active monthly or annual subscription provides 40 credits in each monthly service period. The maximum credit balance is 80 credits.
- If an analysis cannot be completed because of a Service or provider error, the credit used may be restored automatically where the system determines that restoration is appropriate.
- An image being technically unsuitable, containing insufficient information, or the user not finding an output useful does not, by itself, create a right to a credit refund.
- Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. Mandatory refund and consumer rights remain unaffected.
5. Subscriptions
Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically under the relevant store's rules unless cancelled through the Apple App Store or Google Play before renewal. The current price, currency, taxes, billing interval, any trial period, and renewal information are shown by the store before purchase. For purchasing and billing, the store's information controls.
Annual-subscription credits are granted in monthly service periods. As long as the subscription remains active, 40 credits are granted in each monthly period. Cancellation stops the next renewal; access generally continues until the current paid period ends.
Removing the app or deleting your ECG Brief account does not automatically cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. You must separately cancel it through the store account used for the purchase.
6. Cancellation and refunds
You can manage or cancel a subscription through the store account used for the purchase. Refund requests and eligibility are governed by the relevant store's policies and applicable law.
If you believe a paid subscription or purchased credits were not delivered because of a technical issue, contact support@ecgbrief.com. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
7. Availability and changes
We may temporarily maintain, modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service for security, legal, technical, or operational reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free availability or that AI-generated outputs will be complete, accurate, or suitable for every clinical situation.
Material changes may be communicated in the app or through another appropriate channel where appropriate.
8. Intellectual property and uploaded content
ECG Brief's software, design, brand, user interface, and Service materials may be protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You retain the rights you lawfully hold in content you upload.
You permit us to use and technically process uploaded content only as needed to provide, operate, and secure the Service. This permission does not transfer ownership of that content to us.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” ECG Brief does not guarantee that AI-generated outputs will always be accurate, complete, or suitable for a particular clinical use. Outputs require professional validation and independent clinical assessment.
To the extent permitted by law, ECG Brief is not responsible for consequences arising from use of an output without appropriate professional assessment or in breach of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10. Ending use and suspension
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access, in accordance with applicable law, for a material breach, abuse, fraud, a security risk, or a legal requirement.
11. Governing law and contact
Subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules and other applicable mandatory provisions, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. For questions or support, contact support@ecgbrief.com.
